However you get back, you can expect a lot of fun in the process.

The last male and female running any of the courses on the whole planet is the global champion. They will each receive a Wings for Life World Run trophy and a unique prize.

About the App Run

First of all: Thanks so much for participating in the Wings for Life World Run 2017, and it’s cool that you are using the App to train for the big day.

It’s no problem to be registered for both an event and the App Run (both registrations will be shown on your profile). But please note that in this dual situation, only your event result will appear in the Global Result List.

It’s great that you want to take part in the Wings for Life World Run with your friends!

Running for those who can’t on 7 May 2017 is easy:

Just download the App, and establish a team for your friends and yourself if you wish. (This can be done within the App or on the website, and lots of participants find that identifying their group as a team makes things even more fun.) Then run in the Wings for Life World Run on 7 May 2017 on your very own track or in one of our organized App Runs.

Just contact us. We will delete the App Run registration for you. Or it’s also fine to keep it active, just in case you can be part of the movement on 7 May 2017 anyway. You don’t need to cover a big distance to make a difference; every step taken helps us in the search for a cure for spinal cord injury.

Yes! Go ahead and set up your team now on the website or within the App. Looking forward to seeing you run!
