The Wild Side of Wings for Life World Run

Remember Arthur? Last year, he followed a team of intrepid Swedish adventure-runner humans on a trek through Ecuador. Through thick and thin he stayed with them, and when the time came to say goodbye, none of them could.

Arthur the stray dog moved to Sweden, and after one month of being out of quarantine, he joined his humans again. This time on the starting line of the second Wings for Life World Run.

“Arthur was asleep at the starting line with only two minutes to go. When there was just one minute left I thought I had to wake him up, so I lifted him up and told him he had to wake up. But when they fired the starting gun he was – boom! – immediately ready to go,” a smiling Lindnord, Arthur's human, told Swedish tabloid Expressen.
