Local time

For the first time ever, Quito – Ecuador’s capital – will be an official location for the Wings for Life World Run. Sign up for this South American event and join thousands of participants around the world to run for those who can’t.

Set in stunning surroundings in the Andes, 2800m above sea level and on the equator line, Quito city is surrounded by ice-capped volcanoes and is officially the highest capital of the world! The world cultural heritage site could be your next destination on 6 May 2018, when Wings for Life World Run returns for its fifth instalment.

Remember, in the Wings for Life World Run, there’s no time to beat, no set distance and no finish line to aim for! It’s just you versus a moving finish line – the Catcher Car! Sign up to take part in Quito and join the global movement, where 100% of your entry fee goes directly to life-changing spinal cord injury research. Last year, together we raised €6.8million for spinal cord injury research, with participants from 189 nationalities covering 1,431,183km. Now with Quito on the list, let’s see if we can raise even more, run even further, and make 2018 another record-breaking year.
