If hot, lazy days are keeping you from achieving your training potential, there's a surefire way to ditch the summer doldrums.
Right up there with staying hydrated is another rule that's sometimes easy to forget: have fun! When motivation is at a low ebb, try keeping it light and remember why you love running in the first place, whether it's to enjoy the outdoors, to have time with friends (or all to yourself!) – or simply for the sheer joy of movement.
Take inspiration from these Wings for Life World Run participants who brought the fun to locations around the globe on May 8, as well as much-needed funds for spinal cord research.
