Participants will pass through Irene Farm up to 10km. Runners then head out past Olifantsfontein and Clayville which will take them to 21km. We then head towards Ranjespark and Zwartop.

Entry Fee

The entry fee will be R250.00. If the participant does not belong to a running club or have an ASA license, they will have to purchase a temporary license when they collect their race pack (R30.00 but subject to change). ASA Licenses will be sold for R30 – only cash will be accepted.

You will receive a race number that contains a timing tag that is activated when you pass the Catcher Car at the start line. This tag then registers your result when the Catcher Car passes you at the end of your race.

In our unique event concept, all wheelchair participants are part of the global Wings for Life World Run and can compete with the runners. We will try to accommodate all participants in wheelchair but due to the global character of the race special rules will need to be enforced to obtain a valid result.

The pretoria venue is wheelchair friendly. Please collect your parking disk from the Race Pack Collection Manager.

There are very particular wheelchair specifications and rules with which you would need to comply with if you want to be eligible for the prize of first male or female wheelchair participant. Please read page 3 and 4 of the Rule Book.

Competitive wheelchair participants eligible for the prize may load from the front of the chute at the start. Non-competitive and non-compliant wheelchair participants will need to load from the back.

Ten of the sweep buses are wheelchair friendly and will be clearly marked on the windscreen.

Shuttle Service

On route, there will be busses transporting runners that have been eliminated from the event back to the venue. We will also be offering a wheelchair accessible bus transfer from the route back to the venue.

The Gautrain will be running as per the regular Sunday schedule. Make sure that you check the arrival time at the Centurion station to allow you enough time to get to SuperSport Park by 12h30 latest.

Complimentary Tshwane shuttle buses will run between the Centurion Station and SuperSport Park from 11h00 to 13h00 and then again from 15h00 to 18h30. The buses are wheelchair friendly. The Centurion Station is a short 900m walk from SuperSport Park.

Refreshment stations

The Refreshment stations will be 3km apart. The first 6 stations will have Red Bull, Cola and water. From station 7 (21km mark) and beyond, these stations will have the same liquids plus bananas and banana bread.

Medical Information
