Henrik Kristoffersen is no stranger to setting the pace on the slopes, now the slalom specialist will be doing so virtually as the voice of the virtual Catcher Car for this year’s Wings for Life World Run.
Together with a live radio team he will encourage participants through the event on Sunday, May 5.
Henrik said: “I was the Catcher Car driver in Stavanger in 2017, so it’s great to be back now as the virtual Catcher Car driver and, as a competitor myself, I’ll be looking to push everyone to the best of their ability on the day.
The Wings for Life World Run is a great event with 100% of entry fees and donations going into research for spinal-cord injury, and I feel honoured to be a part of that.”
Kristoffersen is the current Giant Slalom world champion and the GS Olympic silver medallist with 18 World Cup race wins to his name.
As well as him being in the ear of all participants taking part via the Wings for Life World Run App, the radio show will also hear why others are running and help inspire with emotional stories from around the world. Those of you who can’t take part on the day can also tune in to the live radio show and catch all the action at www.wingsforlifeworldrun.com.
There’s still time to sign up! Download the Wings for Life World Run App (iOS / Android) and connect with the live radio show on May 5 to have Kristoffersen audibly and virtually get you from start to finish.
