How long would it take you to run around the world? One day … one day in May. On May 3, 2015, you can join thousands of runners of all abilities in the Wings for Life World Run, a race a world beyond any other.

Globally, the fun gets underway when local races start simultaneously – whether it’s day or night, spring or autumn – at 11am UTC, and 30 minutes later, Catcher Cars start to chase the racers, slowly but surely, until they pass all of the participants and end their race. There’s no static finish line, no set distance. Everyone finishes. And the last female and male athlete to be caught by the Catcher Cars will be awarded the title of Global Wings for Life World Run Champions.

Find a Wings for Life World Run event near you, and register now to run with (or against!) your friends and family.

With 100 percent of the proceeds going directly to the Wings for Life foundation, the Wings for Life World Run is about raising awareness and money to find a cure for spinal cord injury. You and your friends near and far will join tens of thousands of runners and wheelchair users, fanatics and first-timers, to create a spine-tingling community, joining together in this global phenomenon with its global goal.

2015 is your year to be a finisher like the 35,397 in 2014 who ran for those who can’t.

On May 3, 2015, cameras around the world will once again catch the joy, spirit and passion of this incredible global race. Step up, nominate friends, challenge family and run for those who can’t by registering here
