New: Children run!

This year’s Wings for Life World Run comprises also a run for children, teenagers, and children and teenagers on wheelchairs.

There are three categories:

"Children I" (6-7 years old on the Race day) and "Children II" (8-9 years old on the Race day) will run 1,000 m (one lap)
"Children III" (10-11 years old on the Race day) and "Children IV" (12-13 years old on the Race day) will run 3,000 m (three laps)
"Teenagers I" (14-15 years old on the Race day) and "Teenagers II" (16-17 years old on the Race day) will run 5,000 m (five laps)
Children and teenagers on wheelchairs (6-17 years old on the Race day) will compete in categories "Children I" and "Children II" and run 1,000 m (one lap)


There will be a joint start of children runs, namely at 2pm.

After the start of the Catcher Car at 1.30pm, we will open the start area for participants of children runs.

At 2pm the participants of all categories will start running on the circular track in the old city centre of Ljubljana.
