Track
You are running on one of the most advanced race tracks in the world. At the Red Bull Ring, where F1 and MotoGP stars usually start their engines, you set the pace. For the first few kilometres you run directly on the race track. From the start-finish straight, the route leads to the Niki Lauda turn and up through the Münzer turn towards turn 3. You've made it! You've conquered the strenuous uphill section and as a reward, you get a unique view of the race track and the Murtal landscape. Along the Schönberg straight, you have the opportunity to catch your breath a bit. After that, you run downhill through turns 4, 5, 6, passing the giant Bull of Steel before reaching turn 7. If you know the Red Bull Ring, you're aware of the track's characteristics – accordingly, the route leads slightly uphill again towards T8 and the Jochen Rindt turn. If you're still in the race at this point and haven't been caught by the Catcher Car, you can be very proud of yourself. You leave the Grand Prix course for the second lap at turn 10. Passing by the Welcome Center, the route goes over the Kart Track to the West Loop. Along the outside of the Schönberg straight, the path continues along the T4 grandstand, through the forest section down to turns 9 and 10. The course is wheelchair accessible. For more challenging climbs, it is recommended to rely on support. There are refreshment stations where you can rehydrate.
