The Wings for Life World Run is a truly unique and global race for both runners and wheelchair participants. Instead of a finish line, competitors race side by side to keep ahead of the Virtual Catcher Car. On 10 de mayo de 2026 Wings for Life World Run participants in Türkiye can also run together in Kayseri. Meet up with your friends, download the Wings for Life World Run App and join all the other people running until the Virtual Catcher Car catches you of course. The race starts at exactly 14:00:00. The Virtual Catcher Car takes off 30 minutes after the start at 14 km/h and steadily increases its speed until the last athletes have been caught. 100% of all donations and the entry fees go directly into spinal cord research projects.

We will start gathering at 1:30 PM at Mikel Coffee Company located in Kayseri Millet Bahcesi. Since the run will officially start at 2:00 PM (world time) and it is also Mother’s Day, we expect Millet Bahcesi to be quite crowded. Please plan your preparations accordingly.

Our event will begin with a short meet-up, warm-up session, and group photos before the run. Thanks to our sponsor, water and coffee will be offered after the run.

As I am not sure exactly who will be attending, I am unable to print everyone’s race numbers. Please do not forget to print your own number. However, if you would like me to print it for you, please send your race number to benguelif@gmail.com. I can print yours while printing mine as well.
