The Wings for Life World Run is a truly unique and global race for both runners and wheelchair participants. Instead of a finish line, competitors race side by side to keep ahead of the Virtual Catcher Car. On 2026. gada 10. maijs Wings for Life World Run participants in Germany can also run together in Bad Aibling. Meet up with your friends, download the Wings for Life World Run App and join all the other people running until the Virtual Catcher Car catches you of course. The race starts at exactly 13:00:00. The Virtual Catcher Car takes off 30 minutes after the start at 14 km/h and steadily increases its speed until the last athletes have been caught. 100% of all donations and the entry fees go directly into spinal cord research projects.

The route for Wings for Life Bad Aibling has been carefully planned and organized by Physiotherapie theramove Bad Aibling.

The start and finish area, as well as all parking facilities, are located at the Base Camp in Mietraching. From there, the course mainly follows well-maintained gravel roads heading towards Högling before looping back to the base camp.

The route is designed as a circular course, offering a calm and scenic outdoor experience.

The aid station is located directly in the start/finish area, ensuring easy access for all participants.

For wheelchair users, a shorter and accessible course is available, allowing everyone to take part safely and comfortably.

Everyone is welcome – from professional runners to Nordic walking beginners, or those who simply want to walk and enjoy the day. No matter the pace or distance: every kilometer counts!
