The Wings for Life World Run is a truly unique and global race for both runners and wheelchair participants. Instead of a finish line, competitors race side by side to keep ahead of the Virtual Catcher Car. Now on 2026. gada 10. maijs Wings for Life World Run participants in Italy can also run together in Welsberg - Monguelfo. Meet up with your friends, download the Wings for Life World Run App and join all the other people running until the Virtual Catcher Car catches you of course. The race starts at exactly 13:00:00. The Virtual Catcher Car takes off 30 minutes after the start at 14 km/h and steadily increases its speed until the last athletes have been caught. 100% of all donations and the entry fees go directly into spinal cord research projects.

585 / 5.000 We'll start together at the "pavilion" near the main square at 1 p.m. sharp. Our route leads around and through the municipality of Welsberg and is a circular route of approximately 4 kilometers, which has been redesigned this year. Alternatively, there's also a shorter running route for families and wheelchair users. Everyone runs or walks as many laps as they can – or until the catcher car catches them. The route is flat and paved, making it wheelchair accessible.

Parking is available at the central exit parking lot, the train station parking lot, and the former barracks area (caravan park).
