The Wings for Life World Run starts in the north of the city in Munich’s Olympic Park, whose grounds were developed for the Summer Olympics in 1972. It is home to a number of famous structures, such as the Olympic Stadium, Olympic Hall and the Olympic Tower, and is world-famous for its pavilion-roof.
