Wings for Life World Run is a race in which wheelchair competitors and runners participate together. This is the only race where there is no finish line, but Catcher Car is chasing you! The race is held all over the world, and we all start at the same time, at 1 pm in Croatian time. We have one goal - to find the cure for spinal cord injuries! May 5, 2024 is the day when we will be reunited, regardless of spatial boundaries and time differences. Connected in hearts, together we help find a cure for spinal cord injuries.
Beautiful coastal city of Zadar is known for its magical sunsets. It is also the town of the Sea Organ, a series of broad steps leading down into the water, but there’s actually very clever engineering hiding under the surface. The lower steps allow water and air to flow in. That water and air are then funneled into resonant chambers under the steps, and pushed out through the channels on the upper stairs. These produces the undulating, chime-like sounds. Because the sea is always shifting and changing, the sea organ never sounds the same twice. Each sound you hear is unique.
