The Wings for Life World Run is a truly unique and global race for both runners and wheelchair participants. Instead of a finish line, competitors race side by side to keep ahead of the Virtual Catcher Car. On 10. května 2026 Wings for Life World Run participants in Brazil can also run together in Brasília. Meet up with your friends, download the Wings for Life World Run App and join all the other people running until the Virtual Catcher Car catches you of course. The race starts at exactly 08:00:00. The Virtual Catcher Car takes off 30 minutes after the start at 14 km/h and steadily increases its speed until the last athletes have been caught. 100% of all donations and the entry fees go directly into spinal cord research projects.

Our official race will take place on a 4 km course along the Esplanada dos Ministérios. The meeting point for the start will be in the quadrant in front of the Cathedral (towards the National Congress), and we recommend arriving at 7:30 AM so we can all start together at 8:00 AM.

Kit pick-up will take place on Friday (May 8) from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM and Saturday (May 9) from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Conquer Business School Sudoeste. The kit includes one Wings for Life World Run t-shirt, one can of Red Bull, and your race bib. The medal will be given after the race. To collect your kit, you must present your registration confirmation and a valid photo ID.
