Sid fly's with Kevin's wings

Sid's life changed when a cycling accident left him a quadriplegic 29 years ago. Sid has not let this stop him and was the Race Director for his Victor Harbor triathlons he created just before his accident. He managed to run one of the most successful triathlons in South Australia for the last 29 years. Sid was training up to do a Ironman when he had his accident and the dream of becoming an Ironman was gone, he thought. Sid wanted to come to Hawaii in 2017 to watch me race the Ironman World Championships, I decided to take him not to watch but to compete with me. We had a huge community support in helping raise funds to get Sid over to Hawaii, unfortunately 2 weeks out from racing, Hawaii Ironman decided they would not let Sid race due to health concerns on the course. This did not stop us and we raced Busselton Ironman in 2018 and Sid's dream of becoming an Ironman was finally fulfilled.
