Kielce, პოლონეთი

The Wings for Life World Run is a truly unique and global race for both runners and wheelchair participants. Instead of a finish line, competitors race side by side to keep ahead of the Virtual Catcher Car. On 9 მაისი 2027 Wings for Life World Run participants in Poland can also run together in Kielce. Meet up with your friends, download the Wings for Life World Run App and join all the other people running until the Virtual Catcher Car catches you of course. The race starts at exactly 13:00:00. The Virtual Catcher Car takes off 30 minutes after the start at 14 km/h and steadily increases its speed until the last athletes have been caught. 100% of all donations and the entry fees go directly into spinal cord research projects.

This year, due to the modernization of the Silnica Valley, we're offering an equally enjoyable route in Stanisław Staszic City Park and Szarych Szeregów Square. We'll be running on paths you know and love, and those joining us this year will have the opportunity to explore this charming corner of Kielce. We'll be running in an approximately 3-kilometer loop. The start and finish lines will be located in the square next to the bandstand (link: https://maps.app.goo.gl/fFxgHyx46MvPMbc27). From the start point, we'll run towards Szarych Szeregów Square under Ogrodowa Street, then towards Kadzielnia, before turning back towards Municipal Park before Krakowska Street. The route doesn't interfere with traffic, ensuring a safe event, and the short distance from the city center is very beneficial for participants. Numerous parking lots, as well as train and bus stations, are located nearby. This opens the event to participants from towns around Kielce. As the organizer, we provide medical care during the event.
