The Wings for Life World Run is a truly unique and global race for both runners and wheelchair participants. Instead of a finish line, competitors race side by side to keep ahead of the Virtual Catcher Car. On 10 de maio de 2026 Wings for Life World Run participants in Poland can also run together in Bralin. Meet up with your friends, download the Wings for Life World Run App and join all the other people running until the Virtual Catcher Car catches you of course. The race starts at exactly 13:00:00. The Virtual Catcher Car takes off 30 minutes after the start at 14 km/h and steadily increases its speed until the last athletes have been caught. 100% of all donations and the entry fees go directly into spinal cord research projects.

The race will start at a unique and recognizable location in the region – the historic Marian Sanctuary at Pólko in Bralin. Situated on a hill, surrounded by mature trees, the sanctuary creates a picturesque and solemn setting that will immerse participants in the atmosphere of a communal run and solidarity with the Wings for Life cause.

After the start of the race, the route continues along a paved road towards Mnichowice, offering gentle gradients and a wide view of farmland and the rural landscapes of southern Greater Poland. This section allows runners to find their rhythm in peace.

The route then heads towards Działosze, also on paved road, passing typical buildings and open spaces. This is a comfortable and clear section of the route – ideal for both beginners and more ambitious participants.

The surface changes as you enter Chojęcin, where the road turns to gravel. This is a beautiful section, running through a peaceful, rural setting, with views of the fields. The gravel surface continues at the beginning of the section leading back to Bralin, giving the route a natural, slightly off-road character while remaining stable and comfortable for running.

Completing the loop towards the hill below Pólko, runners will once again see the sanctuary towering over the surrounding area – giving the return a symbolic and motivating dimension. Each subsequent loop is a chance to feel the power of running together before catching up with the Catcher Car participants.
