The Wings for Life World Run is a truly unique and global race for both runners and wheelchair participants. Instead of a finish line, competitors race side by side to keep ahead of the Virtual Catcher Car. On 10. maj 2026 Wings for Life World Run participants in Germany can also run together in Nürnberg. Meet up with your friends, download the Wings for Life World Run App and join all the other people running until the Virtual Catcher Car catches you of course. The race starts at exactly 13:00:00. The Virtual Catcher Car takes off 30 minutes after the start at 14 km/h and steadily increases its speed until the last athletes have been caught. 100% of all donations and the entry fees go directly into spinal cord research projects.

• Starting at parking lot Norikerstraße
• Follow the route along Wöhrder See till the train
• Go right up the hill till the playground
• Go right twice to cross the train bridge
• After crossing the bridge go right twice to follow the route along Wöhrder See
• At the end of Wöhrder See, go right into the tunnel and left through the next tunnel
• Just straight till Wiesen Biergarten, go left to cross the bridge to Wöhrder Wiese
• After crossing the bridge go right to follow the route along Wöhrder Wiese
• When reaching the end of Wöhrder Wiese go left and left again to follow the route along Wöhrder Wiese on the other Side
• Run straight till the start
• Repeat as often as you want!
