Why Aruba, As Small as We Are, Has a Vibrant Running Community Aruba... when it comes to community spirit, we’re mighty. Our running community is one of the most enthusiastic and supportive around. In 2024, despite our size, 28 runners joined the "App Runners" WFL, raising €330. It wasn’t just about the fund raising, though—it was about the shared sense of purpose and the thrill every mile. Next year, we’re setting our sights higher, aiming for $500 in donations. The spirit on this island is strong, and each runner—whether part of a team or an independent runner—contributes to our common goal. It’s not just about crossing the finish line. its about unity. Aside from this ...its also a-lot of fun! We laugh and push harder when the catcher car is getting closer So, why does Aruba, small as we are, have such a vibrant running community? It’s simple: we run together, for a cause, and because sometimes, it’s just plain fun to be chased by the finish line.
