ANDROID GUIDELINES

Every Android device is different, so we’ve put together a rundown of tips specific to a variety of Android providers.

  1. Open the WfLWR App
  2. Check out the App’s Home Tab
  3. Confirm whether your checklist shows all-green
  4. In case you’re missing a green bar it’s probably due to wrong battery optimization settings

GUIDELINES BY DEVICE PROVIDER

Samsung

Disable battery optimization on Samsung devices

  • Open the phone’s settings and search "World Run"
  • Select Battery
  • Select “Unrestricted: Allow this app to use battery in the background without restructions. This may reduce your battery life."

GOOGLE PIXEL

Disable battery optimization on Google devices

  • Open the phone’s settings and search "World Run"
  • Select Battery
  • Select “Unrestricted: Allow battery usage in background without restrictions. May use more battery."

Huawei

Turn Off "Manage automatically" battery settings on Huawei Devices

  • Open the phone’s settings
  • Search for “Battery Optimization”
  • Click the dropdown and select to show “all Apps”
  • Search for “World Run”
  • Make sure Battery optimization setting states “Don’t allow”

Please note, we only support Huawei devices that download our apps from the Google Play Store and not other 3rd party app stores like Huawei store. This is because the World Run app requires Google services.

OTHER ANDROID DEVICES

Most Android phones use a power saver and/or optimization found in settings. Please make sure the World Run App is excluded from the energy-saving mode and that optimization is disabled.
