The Wings for Life World Run is a truly unique and global race for both runners and wheelchair participants. Instead of a finish line, competitors race side by side to keep ahead of the Virtual Catcher Car. On 10 мая 2026 г. Wings for Life World Run participants in Poland can also run together in Kielce. Meet up with your friends, download the Wings for Life World Run App and join all the other people running until the Virtual Catcher Car catches you of course. The race starts at exactly 13:00:00. The Virtual Catcher Car takes off 30 minutes after the start at 14 km/h and steadily increases its speed until the last athletes have been caught. 100% of all donations and the entry fees go directly into spinal cord research projects.

The race route is located in Kielce, in the Silnica Valley and around the Kielce Lagoon. The start and finish line are at a charming spot on the Silnica River called the "Space" Installation (https://share.google/4W0UpPDCaOdXiDZBm). From there, we run north along the riverbank to the Kielce Lagoon. We then run along the right side of the lagoon towards Bird Island, skirting the lagoon and along the opposite bank back to the Silnica Valley. We pass the "Space" Installation and continue south towards Aleja IX Wieków Kielc. Near the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship Office, we cross the bridge to the other side of the Silnica River and return north along the river to the start-finish line. The race route forms an approximately 5 km loop and is traffic-free, ensuring a safe event. Its proximity to the city center is very beneficial for participants. Numerous parking lots, as well as train and bus stations, are located nearby, opening the location to participants from towns around Kielce. We spontaneously organized the Wings for Life 2025 app-based run at this location and have received very positive feedback on the route. As the organizer, we provide medical care during the event.
