The Wings for Life World Run is a truly unique and global race for both runners and wheelchair participants. Instead of a finish line, competitors race side by side to keep ahead of the Virtual Catcher Car. On 10 мая 2026 г. Wings for Life World Run participants in Poland can also run together in Olsztyn. Meet up with your friends, download the Wings for Life World Run App and join all the other people running until the Virtual Catcher Car catches you of course. The race starts at exactly 13:00:00. The Virtual Catcher Car takes off 30 minutes after the start at 14 km/h and steadily increases its speed until the last athletes have been caught. 100% of all donations and the entry fees go directly into spinal cord research projects.

Join us at Lake Długie in Olsztyn — a beautiful spot surrounded by greenery and water, perfect for running, walking, or rolling in a wheelchair.

This event is open to everyone, no matter your level of fitness. The route is a 2,6km loop along the lakeside paths, designed to be accessible and enjoyable for all participants. There’s no traditional finish line — the virtual Catcher Car in the Wings for Life app will chase participants, so everyone finishes at a different time.

We run for those who can’t, and 100% of entry fees go to spinal cord research. It’s not about speed or results — it’s about moving together, having fun, and supporting a meaningful cause.
