The Wings for Life World Run is a truly unique and global race for both runners and wheelchair participants. Instead of a finish line, competitors race side by side to keep ahead of the Virtual Catcher Car. On 2026年5月10日 Wings for Life World Run participants in Germany can also run together in Hamburg. Meet up with your friends, download the Wings for Life World Run App and join all the other people running until the Virtual Catcher Car catches you of course. The race starts at exactly 13:00:00. The Virtual Catcher Car takes off 30 minutes after the start at 14 km/h and steadily increases its speed until the last athletes have been caught. 100% of all donations and the entry fees go directly into spinal cord research projects.

The meeting point and start are once again the KAIFU-LODGE. The route takes you from the KAIFU-LODGE along the Kaiser-Friedrich-Ufer towards the Alster. This route provides ideal conditions to stay ahead of the Catcher Car for as long as possible while enjoying Hamburg’s beautiful atmosphere.

There will again be several pace groups so that everyone can find a pace that suits them. Detailed information about the pace groups will be provided later. Throughout the event the KAIFU-LODGE’s restroom facilities will be available, and you will have the option to leave your bags and clothing there.

If the Catcher Car catches up with you, you can return to the KAIFU-LODGE and enjoy a relaxed Sunday with Party Party and drinks. Catering is free for all participants, but please register here using our booking tool. The registration link will be announced soon.

Highlights The KAIFU-LODGE will again award prizes to the top three women and the top three men who have run the farthest. In addition, we will hold a small raffle with great prizes during the awards ceremony. Be sure to stay until the end!
