The Wings for Life World Run is a truly unique and global race for both runners and wheelchair participants. Instead of a finish line, competitors race side by side to keep ahead of the Virtual Catcher Car. On Wings for Life World Run participants in Croatia can also run together in Prelog. Meet up with your friends, download the Wings for Life World Run App and join all the other people running until the Virtual Catcher Car catches you of course. The race starts at exactly 13:00:00. The Virtual Catcher Car takes off 30 minutes after the start at 14 km/h and steadily increases its speed until the last athletes have been caught. 100% of all donations and the entry fees go directly into spinal cord research projects.

The route stays the same as in 2026: a familiar course through Prelog, starting and finishing at the bank of Drava River across Hotel Panorama. It is easy to follow and open to everyone, whether you run, jog, walk or roll. The route is paved 100% of the surface and runners do not need to follow it.

There is a water / energy station at the 5km marker - and a smaller one at 1600m marker with water. Pace yourself. Running the whole route along the river takes you roughly 20km with laps following accordingly. 

We run around the lake in Prelog. The lake is part of the Drava River and the scenery is one of those you'll remember.
